Major General Steve Cray will celebrate a long military tradition on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. as Brigadier General Michael Heston assumes the position as the Assistant Adjutant General-Army of the State of Vermont from Brigadier General Brian Carpenter.
The ceremony will take place at the Green Mountain Armory, in Colchester, and will be witnessed by the men and women of the Vermont Army and Air National Guard. The ceremony will culminate with the passing of the Green Mountain Boy Flag from Brigadier General Carpenter to Brigadier General Heston, symbolizing the transition of leadership from one to the other.
